"I live in a small island. So, I'm something of a native filmmaker. I'm used to sticking to the budget and taking on any project as if it were the first or the last of my career. Those of us from the islands tend to be modest and unpretentious, but I think that on my website I have to sell myself a bit. So these are my numbers: 3 films released in cinema, 1 TV-Movie, 15 short films, 3 Goya nominations, 1 nomination to the Forque Awards, 1 nomination to the Circle of Film Writers Awards, 2 Fugaz Awards to the Best Short Film of the year, more than 200 awards in Short Film Festivals and more than 500 official selections. I'm a Member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, also a Member of the Spanish Film Academy. I'm a bit embarrassed to say it, but it's all true".
